Learn to Code

Introduction to Programming

This course takes students through the basics of computer programming. The aim is to get students to understand the concepts and principles of computer programming; such as logic, sequencing, conditions, loops, routines and algorithms.

To keep the focus on these concepts and principles, which apply to all programming languages, we use a visual programming language, which is really easy to understand and fun to work with.

The instructions that make up the visual programming language are in the form of building-blocks. By combining building-blocks and arranging them in the right order, one is able to create their desired application. It is similar to the popular Lego bricks, but this is done on computers.

The course [Introduction to Programming] I took at CodeCamp has really boosted my creative skills and enhanced my imaginative skills. Using the new approach to software creation, through visual blocks makes coding very easy. Also the writing and reading of algorithms has made me give instructions in a more understandable and straight forward way.

CodeCamp is a good place for students to learn to code, because they have well trained teachers who teach the students perfectly. I also realized that the teachers teach us according to the level of our knowledge in order for us to understand the basic things well.

My experience at CodeCamp was very helpful. I already knew how to code before joining CodeCamp, but did not know the basics, such as writing of algorithms. Attending CodeCamp has really helped me understand how to code and has really improved my programming skills and knowledge.

Learning to Code at CodeCamp was such an amazing experience. Coding stretches your mind and gives you better and easier ways of programming any imagination conceived. I like CodeCamp because lessons were practical every time. I was challenged to bring on board any and every idea because any and everything can be programmed. Indeed: Imagine, Think, Create.
